Matt leaned gently into Treacle, wriggling his shoulders until he could brush them against Treacle's, rubbing him comfortingly, and he tried to express how he knew dresses were bad but their masters didn't see them like that, that they understood that Matts weren't girlpets and wouldn't force them to change, and it wouldn't be like this forever, but instead Matt choked on a gag that had suddenly appeared in his mouth, shaped like one of the ones he knew from training, and he froze as his Foggy quietly but angrily said no, he knew that Treacle could be held responsible for his actions, and Matt also should not have started it by biting Danny but hurting the pets now was wrong.

And the dresses shifted into leather vests and pants, with the gags vanishing while the binders remained at that.

"Thanks," Foggy said quietly when the Matts both relaxed at the same time. The arm binders still looked to his own eyes uncomfortable and too tight, but he knew he wasn't as absurdly tough as Matt. "Treacle, Matt, Danny," he said carefully after a minute, "I want to apologize for this mess, and my part in it. I think we're all reacting a bit too fast at the moment." Being conciliatory when he didn't want to be was worth it for Matt, Foggy thought.

Danny: Clearing Up

"Thank you. And I apologise for being too pushy in offering chi healing. I should know better, especially around Matt."

Foggy nodded. "I've had that before, it wouldn't actually hurt me. But you know all Matts, all of them are incredibly protective of the ones they love."

"Yeah." He agreed with a soft smile.

"Do you want a bit of chi help with your shoulder then, now that you're not hurting? It might help a bit with the scarring and reduce chronic pain issues a touch."

Foggy paused, thinking about it. "It wouldn't take it away entirely, would it? Would it revert?" he asked, hesitantly.

"I can't fix it completely no. I can reduce any current pain significantly and do some permanent improvement, but not as much. It won't make had days better, but it should make them a very little bit rarer."

"Will doing it around them hurt them too?" Foggy asked bluntly. "And, if you can--can you make it so the visible scarring doesn't go down? That would be inconvenient. And besides, it's a good reminder that we pulled through that horrible time."

"As long as neither of us is within, say, arms reach of them then they'll be fine." He reassured Foggy with a smile. "And honestly visible scarring isn't something I'd waster time or energy working on in this case."

"Thanks, that would cause too many problems," Foggy said. Matt growled at his side. "Stop that," he said. "It won't hurt me just because it hurts you. Danny's not actually a bad person."

"I appreciate the endorsement." Danny commented with a smile, petting Matt until he pulled away and leaned into Golubushka.

Matt grumbled and whined, but when Foggy told him to be quiet and good and still he just about froze, taking breaths being his only movement as Foggy took some steps away and presented himself and his shoulder to Danny.

He rested a hand on Foggy's shoulder and let his chi seep into him, carefully realigning the pathways to ease Foggy's aches from how the muscles had knitted together wrong.

Foggy made a startled noise without thinking about it, and then moaned in relief as a horrible tight pain he hadn't even been consciously aware of stopped and eased, and a bright, happy, sunshine-and-rainbows warmth swept up to his body and down to his toes, and his eyes rolled back in his head a little. All his muscles calmed down, and he felt absolutely incredibly happy and gentle and forgiving when Danny was done, pulling his warm hand away.

"Go on back to your Matt." He nudged Foggy gently, knowing that Golubushka had to be anxious.

"Uh," Foggy said intelligently, blinking away his delight and feelings. "Yeah, yes, you're right," he said, and wobbled a little as he walked back to Matt, who was perfectly still. "Aww, baby," he murmured, and pressed soft kisses to his head. "My good boy. You didn't move a single inch, did you?" he said, and hugged him, "You can check now," he said with warm reassurance, as Matt practically pounced to fearfully investigate the shoulder now, feeling and listening to it, eyebrows knitted together.

He frowned a bit as he went back to his Matt. Most people weren't that out of it after healing. Not unless they'd been hurting very badly for a long time.

Foggy smiled at Matt, letting him check him over, but he felt good all over, warm and soft and happy, and the rush of endorphins made him feel much nicer about Danny too. "See?" he told Matt. "It's a lot better now, baby. All good now. He didn't hurt me a bit."

"Your Foggy was hurting a lot. If he seems odd now it's because he isn't hurting any more. But you still need to do more to take care of yourself Foggy. More hot baths, maybe let your Matt rub warm oil into the scar."

Golubushka: Clearing Up

Matt made soft confused little noises, twisting his head and patting at Foggy, kissing his shoulder and trying to understand, and he heard Foggy say it really hadn't been that bad, he had just sometimes hurt when it rained or there was a storm or a very hard day.

"But don't you think it would be nice to let your Matt rub oil into your skin sometimes?"

"I mean, if he wants to," he said, and Matt cooed at that, rubbing and nuzzling his scar. "Well, I know you like taking care of me," Foggy said, smiling despite himself brightly. "I just don't want to be a bother, baby, when your needs are more important."

He winced at that.

"Ah, I understand that sometimes taking care of someone else helps."
