Yeah, it is a mouthful. Literally nobody uses it. Apparently some king gave the city a royal charter (dunno what that means!) and the's why it's kingston (king's town) but I don't know. First I heard of that was during the 700 year anniversary of the city a few years ago. I feel like I should know more about local history really. I've had a nosy at Hull's wikipedia page and it says Hull in Quebec and MA are named after here. I guess the others got their names another way, or just got missed in the article.

I'm going to try to write another bit of the story now, because I'm out tomorrow and at some work course on Monday. If I don't manage it now, I'll try and get it done in between all the stuff.
