"Hi, I'm Foggy Nelson--I'm here for my Matt? He said this was the right address, he came to visit his friend Toffee," Foggy said politely, offering a friendly smile and not moving to shake hands necessarily. He noted the elaborate collar, and the very well-dressed pet, and noted to himself that this was a very, very rich person's house.

She stepped back, letting him into the house.

"Come on in then, I'll just go and get him from the nest. Would you care for a drink?"

"Uh, it depends on how my Matt is," Foggy said carefully. "And how this whole excursion's gone. Did anything happen?" he asked, giving a coolly suspicious aside glance to Danny Rand, who looked pretentious in his ostentatiously scruffed-up shoes.

"He threw up, I'm not sure why. But he's been in the nest for most of his visit, and I had to leave when Master Barba and Hendrik left so Danny wouldn't be alone." She felt the oddest urge to step between Danny and this shifty looking man.

"Ah," Foggy said, and focused away from Rand. "Well, I'll just talk to him for a minute, then. Matt?" he called down the hallway, sure Matt could hear him with his terrifyingly acute ears, and sure enough, there he was coming, with a towel over his nose and an adorable smile on his face, and Foggy immediately lavished a kiss on his forehead and a warm hug, putting his arm around Matt's waist and holding him close.

"We noticed that Golubushka prefers not to have assistance unless he asks for it, even if he was kind enough to support Toffee up the stairs." Jamie added in pre-preemptive defense as he followed Golubushka.

"Yeah, he's very independent," Foggy nodded, grinning widely and brightly at Matt. He couldn't help it, he was besotted. "It's wonderful, isn't it? He's lovely."

He could smell the blood from Golubushka as Ivannya and Jamie made noncommittal noises.

"Sometimes independence can lead to difficulties though." He put in softly.

"I...sure?" Foggy said, baffled at how creepy that comment was, and drew Matt a little closer. "How did your nose start bleeding, was it just one of the spontaneous ones?" They'd happened about twice or so.

Matt shook his head and winced. "Walked into door. Actually into it this time," he said, shaking his head and laughing. "Always say that, but was a door this time, not a glass or a fist."

He smiled gratefully at Danny for trying to hint to Golubushka's master that he'd got hurt by not asking for support.

"He came back from washing his hands after eating, and I think he must have tripped on one of the cushions in the nest or something. Do you want to come and sit with Golubushka until his nose has stopped bleeding?"

"That would be great, thank you," Foggy said, looking at Matt's unafraid and loose body language. "It's not your fault, I appreciate the towels. How long has he been bleeding? And how much?"

"About ten, or fifteen minutes before you called him." He admitted, leading Golubushka and his master back to where they'd eaten lunch. "And this is the second set of towels I got him." He glanced back, frowning a bit when he saw how Ivannya was watching Danny anxiously.

Foggy caught the anxious looks but was unsure of how to respond to them. "Okay, that's a bit concerning. What did he eat earlier?"

He patted Ivannya on the arm reassuringly before he spoke.

"He had a hot chocolate made with almond milk, with raspberry jam stirred into it on the way over here, then we started lunch with cheese paratha and chutney and followed up with a sweet potato stew and a chicken and chickpea casserole, served with a mix of flat breads."

"I did have pierogies ready to cook afterwards, but we had those later, and just the four of us in the nest." Jamie added.

"Wow, that sounds delicious," Foggy said, though it was odd that Danny paid so much attention to what Matt ate. "That is a fair amount. Was that what made you get sick--?" he asked Matt directly, who shook his head and then winced at fresh blood squirting out now he'd dislodged the clots. "Okay, so, I think sitting for a few moments might really hwll

"Wow, that sounds delicious," Foggy said, though it was odd that Danny paid so much attention to what Matt ate. "That is a fair amount. He frowned, considering what he'd heard...

"Jamie, can you write down anything you remember about what was going on in the nest right before?" He asked the question carefully once they had Golubushka and his Foggy sat down at the table they'd eaten lunch at.

(OOC: Oh my god Foggy, Danny's remembering the drink he prepared for Golubushka because it's a touch unusual, then what they were all served for lunch. It's not like they each had a different meal.)

"Yes, I'll be discreet," Foggy added reassuringly. "It's just that if it doesn't stop it'll help to present the doctor with as much information as possible."

Matt frowned at him. "I'm not going to a hospital for a nosebleed," he said with absolyre

"If it doesn't stop, yes, you are, I will call an ambulance don't see if I won't," Foggy said firmly and as calmly as he could. "I'm not going to wake up tomorrow and find out that you bled to death."

"Would you rather I used chi to stop the bleeding if that's the only alternative?" He glanced at Golubushka's master and cut him off before he could speak. "I'm asking him not you, because he's the one who'll be hurting."

Meanwhile Jamie was writing a note and passed it to Golubushka's master.

(Jamie's note as follows:

Golubushka was talking with Toffee about going out, and if he ever went out alone before he left the nest. Toffee said that we recognise his craft room as his space and don't come in if he says not to, but he doesn't go out alone just yet. After Golubushka left the nest Matt asked Toffee if he wanted to go out alone - again, not yet.)

Matt frowned, thinking it over very very hard, and said slowly, ten more minutes? very meekly quietly, would rather not..inflict that on you.

Foggy bit back a snarl at the note, understanding immediately that Matt's sickness was psychological then--he'd started developing nausea and vomiting more and more often in response to being triggered by various things, which meant at work he sipped ginger tea nonstop and at home he was more and more often having to avoid stress to keep his meals down. This wasn't a good sign at all.

"Thanks," he said to the beautiful pet--Jamie. "Could I ask Toffee if he's noticed anything else?"

"Thank you. I don't like hurting people." Danny spoke to Golubushka softly as Jamie considered his owner's request.

"I can go and ask him about that for you." Since Matt seemed wary of him he wasn't willing to ask Toffee to come out.

Okay? Matt asked, absolutely confused by that statement and unsure of how to respond, he really didn't agree at all, but it didn't sound like a lie so he didn't know what to think, and he huddled in a little closer to Foggy and tried to not start vomiting up his own fresh blood, and his guts squirmed unpleasantly.

"Thank you, I appreciate it," Foggy said, trying to be kind and firmly not take it personally that Toffee wasn't willing to come and meet him. After all, a number of Matt's pet friends were just too wary around free people to ever really relax or feel comfortable.

Golubushka had no right to sound that uncertain about reassurance from a man who'd been nothing but respectful of him, not when his own owner was so clearly volatile given what Matt had said and how Toffee didn't want to come out to see him. But Jamie didn't say anything, just getting up and going back to the nest to ask Toffee if there was anything else he'd noticed around the time Golubushka had got sick.

"Just that, when he came back Treacle-Matty had said I should let him know I didn't want to go out alone yet anyway, but he didn't want to hear it."

"Thank you." And Jamie wrote that down to give to Golubushka's master.

"Thank you, that definitely explains several things," Foggy thanked Jamie warmly, and helped Matt sit down with him, and for a minute or two they just breathed, with Matt clearly trying to stop bleeding by willpower alone. "I was wondering--how are things with you?" he asked the Danny, trying to make polite, low-key conversation.
