This post is for prompts that focus on crossovers between various slavery AUs, with the crossover wizards.

I'll move a couple of prompts over to start us off, but feel free to ignore them and put your own.

He climbed into the booth first, so he was protected on the inside and Matt was on the outside. It felt comfortable and cozy.

And the air smelled like good beer and food. "May I have alcohol tonight?" he asked Matt and Foggy.

"Yes sweetheart, you may. Do you know what you'd like as far as alcohol goes?"

THe beer was what he could smell the strongest, as that was what most of the patrons were drinking, "One of the craft beers?" he asked.

"I'll just ask them to recommend one then, when they bring our menus." He smiled at Dove approvingly.

He smiled, "Thank you Foggy," he said and was glad he dared to ask for something. He knew they wouldn't let him drink much, knowing they disproved of him getting drunk, and so he felt safe protected in their care.

"Maybe we should all have a craft beer, a different type each and try all three of them." Matt suggested softly.

"Yeah, that sounds good." He could hear the grin in Foggy's voice.

That did sound really good.
A waiter came by to ask their drink order and tell them the specials.

"We'd like a craft beer each - half a pint, and a different one for each of us." The waiter had also brought two braille menus, and passed them to Matt and Dove.

Dove didn't touch his menu until Matt did, and even then he rathered that Matt or Foggy would choose for him.
they knew far more about food and what would taste good than he did.

"Dove, would you rather have the duck or the tuna?" Matt narrowed it down to two options, both choices he didn't really cook at home.

"Tuna?" he answered more as a question, even as he reminded himself that Matt wouldn't ask unless it was a real choice. He could smell some other plates that he thought were tuna and they smelled good. It wasn't like the tuna that came from cans from his world, this smelled fresh.

"Then I'll have the duck." Matt decided, and smiled at Foggy. "Will you order for all three of us?"

Dove sat back and listened to everything around them, enjoying the music and the sounds of people having fun.

And when the waiter arrived with their drinks he ordered for all three of them.

Dove appreciated that Matt kept his drink with his own for a bit until Foggy had the first drink, and then slid it over to him. He waited for Matt next and then took a sip. It was cold and slightly bitter and oh so good.

"Do you like yours?" he asked.

"Yes. It's more complex than more commercial beers are." Matt commented with a smile.

He enjoyed it. "It's better than anything I've had before," he said happily.

(ooc: any directions you want to take this in? Some action or something would be nice?)

"Good, I'm glad to hear that." Matt smiled at Dove and kissed him briefly, right before the band started up.

"Want to have a quick dance before our meal?"

(OOC: Matt and Foggy want Dove to have a good time out, but it's up to you if that works)

He grinned happily, "Yes, that would be fantastic," he agreed but waited for Foggy's permission first.

"Have fun, I'll watch over your drinks." And he kissed Dove before Matt stood and offered Dove his hand.

He took Matt's hand and followed him out to the dance floor. There were a few people dancing already and Dove was both nervous and excited. Nervous because he couldn't shake that feeling at the back of his mind telling him that enjoying himself wasn't allowed, that someone was going to get offended by his presence. But he held onto Matt, trusting Matt to lead.

And Matt guided Dove into a slow waltz, in time with the music, but something that wouldn't attract too much attention.

"Oh, that's so sweet!" One of the other club patrons commented.

He tried to ignore the comment, not comfortable with being a spectacle, but getting used to it. It seemed all free people felt it was their right to comment on pets and touch them, but it was something he was getting used to. He was learning to accept and respond to it properly.

And it saddened him that Matt was always on alert, always playing his role as a pet- posing and responding as he was taught to, always aware of eyes watching and what he should be. And Matt had to be double aware with Dove with him because there was still so much Dove didn't know.

He kissed softly at Matt's neck.

Matt stroked Dove's back, comfortingly.

"It's okay, people comment on beautiful free people as well."

"It's good attention," Dove said, wanting Matt to know that he was okay and was ready to follow Matt's example.
