This post is for people who want to play more general roleplays, I'm leaving this unstructured, to play please comment with who you play (even if you think it should be obvious from your icon/username) and what sort of interaction you're looking for.

Date: 2016-04-19 11:07 pm (UTC)It could also be one sided, with Mike being interested in Matt because Matt is simply a good person who always tries to do the right thing and help people, while everyone at Chaste is pretty numb to violence and killing. Mike always ends up acting like a dick whenever he ends up seeing Matt though, maybe due to nerves or Mike thinks this is how you hit on people, so Matt doesn't like to acknowledge he even knows Mike. (Similar to the comics where Matt pretends the reason he didn't tell Foggy about Mike is that Mike is a dick)
Im having visions of some Bullseye level 'I want to open up your chest and crawl inside' weird jealous obsessive stalker shit. Like does he want what Matt has or does he want Matt? Does he want to be Matt? be better than Matt? Would he try to reach the top by climbing up or by pushing Matt down?
Mike could be that creepy guy that wants to posess and dominate someone who refused him to 'show them who's in charge’
This is not my favorite interpretation of Mike… :)
I was thinking they're brothers. They used to be inseparable. Definitely envious of Matt on more than a few fronts - Stick favors him more, he has the education, a level of respectability, friends, stability... silk sheets... etc. Mike is a bit rough around the edges because he's been living off the grid for a long time. He's also hurting and angry because Matt wants nothing to do with their kind of life. But, that's all Mike knows. And he totally misses him. So there's the rough teasing, the pranks & mischief - but God forbid someone else does it to him. But, um, yeah, it does sound stalker-ish and more than just a bit crazy... lol Maybe he's just making sure Matt's paying him some attention?
That, and Matt's got to be repressing things…

Ha. I much prefer this. Not that it’s up to be, but…
Oh my god but really, if Mike was just acting out to get Matt to notice him. Like hitting on Karen and immediately turning to Matt to see if he was jealous, or Mike making fun of Foggy to make himself look better in comparison. Or wearing all the coolest fashion and using the latest slang because he see that's what people picking up hot girls do at the bar, and well Matt's way better than those girls so maybe it will work on him too? And Mike knows Matt is blind, but Mike still has to look his best for Matt, and Matt will know what he looks like if he could ever get Matt to touch him…
"Chubbo doesn't think you can take care of yourself Matty. How about we go down to the docks and I show you some throws to prove him wrong?"
"I'm not saying he ain't a good guy, just that he has a face only a mother could love, just putting it out there. I gotta look out for you Matty, you deserve the whole package."
"Sweet cheeks let me in, you could bounce a quarter off that you know?" *Mike intensely stares at Matt to see his reaction*
LOL Matt is mildly horrified... But, he hasn't told him off just yet either... Instead it just doesn't compute.
(Well, maybe if he says that bit in earshot of Foggy, then he gets an earful…)

Lol, not exactly, but kindasorta? I guess Mike can be a weird guy..! Or he was saying it to get a reaction?
The question is, what is the reaction??

Then he hears the women crying at the docks... Someone needs to help them…
So Mike may or may not be a creepy stalker. There’s a possibility he’s attracted to Matt, he’s certainly not impressed with Foggy! He’s crying out for attention from his brother, which is why he’s acting like such a jerk most of the time!
And that’s about it. We’ve created a monster. Let’s see what it does if you poke it a bit...

But hopefully the flashback or past scenes or whatever will make him more likable. Everybody likes angst! :-)
