This post is for people who want to play more general roleplays, I'm leaving this unstructured, to play please comment with who you play (even if you think it should be obvious from your icon/username) and what sort of interaction you're looking for.

If someone wants more structure/to take over handling general roleplays please ask and I'll be happy to add at least one mod for this.

Okay, that was probably my interpretation of what we'd written, plus the apartment stuff, but that could be when he makes another return during present day.

A lot of it makes more sense in the carefree college era anyway. I suppose it's the thing about Mike bring Daredevil, since Matt didn't do that Tim much later in the original history, but that doesn't mean Mike went the same way. After all, he doesn't have school to distract him, and he's been training a lot longer, fighting's kind of what he does.

So Foggy finds out about Mike back in college, including the daredevil thing. The super hearing though, would Matt even know Mike had that if he didn't know about Stick's extra special, super evil training? He could find out about that later, and maybe a little later he could find out Matt's got the same thing going on, and be pissed that he didn't tell him.

Oh, right - good point. That's right - we'd set Matt finding out about Mike later, at the apartment. So, as the summary above stands, Matt wouldn't know necessarily how good Mike's senses are.

Actually, that could work out in our favor for how crazy things can get.

Then again, maybe Matt could know about his super-senses and just not know about the Stick-induced blindness?? Hmm... Actually, that sounds less plausible when I write it out. Yeah, I guess Matt doesn't know. Maybe he just figures Mike is really sneaky.

We might want to move up the timeline for that mission Mikey goes on where he chooses to drink the tea for Stick. Maybe Foggy will have to cope with an extra blind roomie. LOL

I must be tired - I just re-read your comment - we can leave the Stick-induced blindness episode where it is, too - the angst sounds kinda nice. LOL I need to get to bed. :)

About Mike being Daredevil/The Man in the Mask - I think it happens earlier for him than it would have for Matt of the TV show time-line for exactly those reasons. I don't think he needed a defining moment that makes him decide to do it - it just happens organically. He'd been helping people all along. It was Matt who needed one because he'd been living that normal life and wanted to believe in the law and the system. So, later, the moment that would've been his in the TV show - Mike just ends up doing it without much fanfare. Maybe he didn't even give Social Services a chance to fail. Matt just hears that the problem is taken care of...

As to how he gets the name Daredevil and the costume... Maybe it happens in a similar way it did for Matt in the show, only it's Mike sort of working with Matt and Foggy to take down Fisk. (Though, he does a lot independently... Maybe they even have that scene in the alley where the Man in the Mask gives them the info on Leland Owlsley that they'd related to Karen in episode 13 - only this time it really happened. LOL) Anyway, without the Fisk thing, I'm not sure how Melvin would get involved to make the costume, so... *shrugs*

Actually, now that I think of it, we could alter Melvin's time-line a bit... Was he maybe the Gladiator & Mike had taken him down? Or maybe he was just something smaller time (& Mike still stopped him - maybe they had a surprising heart-to-heart) and he's already out on parole... Betsy can be his parole officer or shrink or both - I think that's what she was in the comics, and later they actually do get married and have a kid, if memory serves. So, away, knowing each other earlier could lead to Melvin wanting to help Mike with a better costume.
